About Julie R. Woodward

Julie began her life's work as a recycler. She was instrumental in forming two non-profit volunteer recycling centers. These endeavors evolved into Community Recyclers. Community Recyclers gathered paper and cardboard in many forms until it was collecting approximately 35 tons of recycled material a year. As director of Community Recyclers, Julie developed an educational curriculum for children in grades kindergarten thru sixth grade. Julie taught these courses in Fowlerville Schools for over a decade

While leading Community Recyclers, Julie discovered her passion and commitment for community involvement by becoming part of Fowlerville's local government. With an eye toward curbside recycling and tree planting programs for the village, Julie ran for Village Trustee of Fowlerville and served for 3 terms. Julie then served as the first woman Village President of Fowlerville. She served two terms in this mayoral capacity.

It is with this background that Julie began to develop her interest and talents as a spiritual leader and healer, and Wholistic Life Services was born. Julie was ordained through the Universal Life Church and began performing weddings, funerals, and baptisms. As part of the services offered through Wholistic Life Services, Julie began to help in the spectrum of life's phases from birth to elder care to transitions to the other side.

Spiritual Retreats and energy healing became regular events. Spiritual healers, spiritual readers, massage therapists, and like minded persons were brought to Julie's home for scheduled events and workshops. Julie's encounters with people of love and spirit needed to be shared which inspired the opening of Wholistic Life Services in beautiful downtown Williamston.

"I believe in energy healing, in the power of love, laughter, and light to transform us. I believe that we are all awakening to the call of Spirit. My desire is to create a place where I can hold and maintain a sacred space to help serve you" - Julie Woodward
