Moving Towards Whole Health

When I was young, my family firmly believed in preventative health care long before it was a popular concept.  Of course, how we go about that has changed over the decades and now we have a greater understanding of the importance of nurturing ourselves.  This is even more crucial as families spread across the country, we work longer hours to make ends meet and we are bombarded on every side by information, decisions to be made and demands on our time and resources.

As a Registered Nurse, I have spent over 25 years caring for the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs of others.  My appreciation for the interconnectedness of these aspects of ourselves grew throughout my career in nursing until it was natural for me to open a private practice as a Healing Touch Practitioner, Spiritual Director, Colored Light Therapist and Intuitive.

Healing Touch is a form of energy work with a 2 year certification process developed by RN’s so it would be acceptable to hospitals and physicians.  The techniques used are from many ancient healing traditions around the world.  Research has shown it is very effective in 1) speeding healing of wounds and fractures, 2) relieving pain, 3) decreasing the side effects of medications, surgical procedures and other treatments, and 4) improving chronic diseases.  I have clients that come to me for a variety of short-term and long-term physical, mental, and emotional challenges.  There are also many that have no significant emotional or physical issues, but feel that the work we do moves them faster along their spiritual paths.

Spiritual Directors walk with people along their Divine Path offering deep listening, perspective, witnessing their spiritual growth and uplifting them in prayer.  My clients come from a variety of backgrounds ranging from Native American, Jewish, Christian, Buddhist, Sikh, Muslim and the Tao.  As we find their life’s work, we try to honor all while finding the most skillful way to live life.

As a Color Therapist, I shine colored light on various parts of the body or energy field to bring about a change in their vibrations through resonance.  This allows acute and chronic issues to be brought to wholeness in a gentle and restful manner.  There may be a series of treatments needed to accomplish this depending on the duration and complexity of the issue being treated.

As an Intuitive, I can offer transformational healing on a variety of levels and dimensions.  Often, my client’s and my spirit guides show or tell me what is happening while they rest on the treatment table which I relay to my client.  If there are messages, I relate those as well.  This modality may be mixed with any of the other techniques used during a session to provide a well-rounded approach to health care.

In my work as a Whole Health Consultant, I have the privilege of working with my clients as they move through all stages of their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing and growth.  Their progress is profound and far-reaching.  This is truly what it means to “move towards whole health.”

Fees:

First fee $95; thereafter visits are usually 1 hour at $65.  There is a $12 additional fee for home visits.
