Jaquelynne Featherly earned the elite title of Master of the Blood Type Diet, in 1996 as one of only 60 experts in the world. She is also a Trainer of Teachers for the Blood Type Diet that was 
developed by Dr. D’Adamo. With her Nursing back-ground she also earned a Naturopathic Degree from the Naturopathic Institute of Therapies and Education, as well as a Homeopathic Degree at the British Institute of Homeopathy in Toronto. Her enthusiasm and high energy drive her “Let’s Get Healthy Naturopathic Clinic” that is about 70 miles from Lansing in Vestaburg, Michigan. At her clinic she sees patients often referred by doctors and other practitioners. The clinic offers a wonderful, small health food store within it. She balances a busy schedule of seeing patients, speaking and teaching engagements.
Jackie has a unique perspective about illness and here is why. When she turned 49 years old, she was diagnosed with colon cancer. She eventually had surgery at the Cancer Treatment Center of America where doctors removed a large tumor. Having survived an extensive, delicate, and successful operation, she was 
left with failing kidneys and a three month stay in the hospital. Jackie then learned about the Blood Type Diet from the resident Naturopath. At that point she began eating for her own blood type that ultimately saved her kidneys and brought her back to good health. Using her own experience Jackie counsels her patients with a great passion for nutrition. Her delightful sense of humor and extensive knowledge makes one feel comfortable as she imparts her wisdom on biology and nutrition.
Jackie gives speeches and provides classes by arrangement, or one
can attend one of her ongoing classes at the Naturopathic Institute.
This fall of 2007 she is teaching classes at Sparrow Hospital in
Lansing, Michigan.
